Back to Black
With Value, I'm exploring the realistic value of the currency and what it represents. I'm not limiting myself to a specific style or technique so I have complete artistic freedom when it comes to using techniques and media. I've started working on this series in 2014 and I plan to resume it in full in 2020.
This is a series of drawings that I created in 2015.
The dominant theme that is prevalent in these pieces is the presence of technology and its fast-paced growth. This is one of my sidenote series of works. I often take a
break from more complex visual projects through drawings such is these. My primary focus was on encapsulating the presence and evolution of data and media technology.
This is a series of artwork that I created in 2013. After two years of drawing by nature and studying human anatomy on the Faculty of Fine Arts, students are allowed to pick their own theme, style, and technique. I tried to use the knowledge and skills I had on self-portraits. As I was interested in the human mind, psychology, and the changing human nature, I tried to reflect that with the art I was creating. The basic idea was to show different phases of a portrait and its visible emotional reactions. Also, on most pieces, I was testing how good I know myself and the portrait, so I was relying only on my memory. Aside from the annual exhibition on FFA, I never exhibited these artworks.
